Building Solutions
Afrimod Building Solutions are primarily geared to provide solutions for mass construction. Accordingly, where volumes are large enough, a manufacturing plant can be implemented on site to produce all the precast panels required.
The components for each house are palletised and transported to individual slabs for construction on a daily basis. This eradicates complex storage of traditional building materials such as bricks, wood, cement, sand and stone and security issues related thereto on site.
Depending on the finishes required for structures, between three to five times as many structures can be constructed as those constructed using traditional building materials and methods.
Because the panels bolt together according to pre-determined positions on the slab, very little skilled labour is required in the construction and labour from local communities can be used for the construction purpose.
